1 SURPRISE Albeit opened broader Or poked and prod with finger… How much the eyes are rubbed even- Can’t be seen anything In the blackly darkness But, surprising enough, In that tarred darkness itself- Can be seen the myriads of lights In the unreachable heights of the sky! Can be read myriads and myriads of feelings In the impervious depths of heart’s sky!! 2 PARROT OF BOSOM As the white hairy staples scattered By dehiscent silk cotton pods Piercing and flying through clouds Being afloat in the sky- Roaming and roaming in… Reverberating thoughts of circles! While sitting and soothing On the pedestals of tree branches Under the shade of umbrella of foliage- A green recovered experience From the choked thoughts! When I caged the freely flying wings In the wide bluish sky With love and affection- In that cage itself Jolted unconsciously… This parrot of my bosom also! 3 WHEN WISHED NOT TO BE KNOWN The kiss… Gives so comfort As the milk being drunken by a cat! When wished Not to be known to the world… The eyes- Will be closed! 4 INTO TWO Weaving the wings Flying side by side Crow and the crane… Two different worlds! Divided into two- The sky! 5 THE STEPS Coming down is easy; Going up, a mere difficulty! While stepping up A lengthy turmoil of journey. What's in stepping down? Running, leaping and bounding! But, going up is important To have the ‘Darshan’- Whether the steps of a hill… Or of the Life! 6 NO MOON The spilled down white flour, Lifting it little by little… Perhaps about fifteen times- Filled in the tumbler And kept in safe By closing the lid! The dark somber Enclosed everywhere! 7 FLOWER-SMILE The flower… The laughter… Floral laughter... Laughing flower... The tree… And the man! 8 LIFE Some ‘Ifs’ Some ‘If nots’ Still some ‘ands’ And many a ‘buts’- In Toto One ‘yes’ and ten ‘nots’! |
